Many schools provide hostels to their students, where dinner is also served. The dormitory rooms are furnished, but you must bring your own sheets, covers or a sleeping bag. Furthermore, you should bring your own cutlery and china as well as pots and pans. Living in hostels is not mandatory.
Students at other schools have to look for accommodation themselves. Students usually choose to live in the school dormitories, which are much cheaper than conventional flats. Several students can live together in the dormitories; however, it is to be taken into account that they are comparatively small. Single-room flats are about 20 – 30 m² large and two-room flats are about 30 – 40 m² large.
The flats have a kitchen and a bathroom. The kitchen is usually equipped with an electric cooker, a fridge, a sink and a stove top. There is a shower, WC and a sink in a bathroom. The flats are modern and in a good condition. Dishes, kitchen-ware, bedclothes and other required things must be provided by a student himself.
We suggest to take the Study Sart bus to Denmark as all the flight companies have the limit for baggage weight. Normally the limit is 20 kg. Read more about Study Start bus here: Study Start bus
Study Start helps students to find flats in the corresponding city if needed.
Please note: When you have found a place to live, please inform Study Start as soon as possible.
